Revenue cap on UK low-carbon generators

The UK Government introduced the new Energy Prices Bill on 12 October 2022. This Bill, if enacted, will provide the legislative basis for the energy price support provided to households and businesses as well as a “temporary” revenue cap, which is also referred to as the Cost-Plus Revenue Limit.

For more details about this revenue cap, the Bill and the implications, please refer to our article here at Revenue cap on low-carbon generators.

We are closely engaging with key stakeholders in the energy sector, as well as working with leading corporates, funds and financial institutions as they progress and structure their renewable energy transactions in the current climate. Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss with our sector-leading energy team on the legislative and regulatory regime and how your business might be affected by it.
