CSDDD trilogues – key sticking points

The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD or CS3D) is a proposal by the European Commission to establish a legal framework for mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence obligations for companies operating in the European Union. The CSDDD is currently in the midst of the legislative process, known as 'trilogues'. The European Parliament, the Council and the Commission are hoping to be able to reach a final agreement on the proposal by the end of this year. COP28 – key issues and what to expect

The 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP28, will take place in Dubai on 30 November-12 December 2023. It will also be the first Global Stocktake of the Paris Agreement – where countries will undertake a comprehensive assessment of the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the collective progress towards its goals. In this panel discussion, Vanessa Havard-Williams (consultant at Linklaters and former co-head of the ESG team) speaks to members of the Linklaters International Advisory Group (The Rt Hon Lord Hague of Richmond, Meghan O’Sullivan, and Dr Dambisa Moyo) about the key issues to look out for during COP28, including:
