UK Autumn Statement 2022 – Electricity Generator Levy

As confirmed in the 2022 UK Autumn Statement, the UK Government will be introducing the electricity generator levy (formerly known as the “revenue cap” or the “Cost-Plus Revenue Limit”). Following the Autumn Statement and the enactment of the Energy Prices Act 2022, the Government’s technical note regarding the electricity generator levy provides further information in relation to the electricity generator levy.
