EU sustainable corporate governance and human rights due diligence proposal delayed until early 2022

We understand that the European Commission’s Sustainable Corporate Governance legislative proposal – which is expected to cover mandatory human rights due diligence as well as directors’ duties – has been delayed (again) and is unlikely to emerge until Q1 2022, possibly in March 2022.
