Overview

Sacha is an Associate of our Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations Department of the Brussels’ office, assisting our clients in resolving their most complex domestic and cross-border disputes, as well as managing their risks in challenging contentious situations. Her main practice areas are litigation, regulatory investigations, and arbitration. She advises our national and international clients on a wide variety of sectors related to business law and energy law.

 

Sacha has acted in a wide range of commercial and criminal disputes. Those that can be disclosed include:

  • representing an insurance company in post-M&A disputes, also involving fraud claims;
  •  assisting Belgian distribution system operators and their shareholders, in challenging the new methodologies for the calculation of the energy distribution tariffs imposed by the Belgian regulators;
  • assisting a foreign bank in the acquisition of a Belgian bank.

 

Professional experience

Sacha had three years’ international experience abroad before joining Linklaters in Brussels. She worked as in-house legal counsel of Air France HOP! in Nantes, for Accenture and DigiLion in Prague, and for Allianz in Dublin. 

Education and qualifications

Sacha graduated in 2017 with a Master of International Law degree from the University of Brussels (ULB) obtained with grande distinction.
