EU SFDR RTS - revised timing

The European Commission was expected to adopt the pending Regulatory Technical Standard (RTS) under the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) in June but this has now been pushed to early July. 

Our understanding is that the Commission may adopt the RTS, alongside the SFDR guidance requested by the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs), on 6 July but this has not yet been confirmed. The ESAs may also adopt their advice on the second RTS (which includes Taxonomy disclosures) around the same date.
